DATA PROTECTION

I have written this data protection declaration in order to explain to you, in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, what information I collect, how I use data and what decision-making options you have as a visitor to this website and as a patient in my psychotherapy practice.  ;

Automatic data storage when you visit my website 

When you visit websites these days, certain information is created and stored automatically, including this website. If you visit my website as you are now, my web server (computer on which this website is stored) automatically saves data such as the IP address of your device, the addresses of the subpages visited, details about your browser and the date and time. I do not use this data and generally do not pass it on, but I cannot rule out that this data will be viewed in the event of illegal behavior. 

Storage of personal data

Personal data that you transmit to me electronically on this website, such as name, email address, telephone number, address or other personal information as part of submitting a contact or registration form, will only be used by me for the purpose specified in each case used, stored securely and not passed on to third parties.

I therefore only use your personal data to communicate with those visitors who expressly request contact and to process the services and products offered on this website. I will not pass on your personal data without your consent, but I cannot rule out that this data will be viewed in the event of unlawful behavior.

If you send me personal information by email, I cannot guarantee the secure transmission and protection of your information. I recommend that you never send confidential data unencrypted via email.

Data collection and processing during the course of psychotherapy 

According to Section 16 of the Psychotherapy Act, psychotherapists are required to provide documentation. For this purpose, I collect and process the following data from you: Personal data (title; salutation; last and first name; address, city, zip code; telephone number). Special category of personal data (health data): Psychotherapists must keep records of every psychotherapeutic measure they take, namely: history of the problem and any illness as well as previous diagnoses and the previous course of the illness; Start, course and termination of psychotherapeutic services; Type and scope of diagnostic services, advisory or treatment forms of intervention and results of any evaluation; agreed fee and other other agreements from the treatment contract, in particular with any legal representatives; educational steps taken and verifiable information; consultations with professionals or other health professionals; Transmission of data and information to third parties, in particular to health insurance providers; any recommendations for additional medical, clinical-psychological, health-psychological or music therapy services or other clarifications; Inspection of the documentation and justification for refusals to inspect the documentation. 

Storage period 

The legal obligation for psychotherapists to retain personal data stipulates that they must be archived for at least 10 years after the end of psychotherapy. 

Obligation of confidentiality according to the Psychotherapy Act 

I am subject to the psychotherapeutic confidentiality obligation in accordance with Section 15 of the Psychotherapy Act. This ensures that all of your therapy data is treated confidentially. 

Data transfer to third parties

As part of my tax return, I will send the following data from you to my tax advisor: title, salutation, last and first name, address, city, postal code. My tax advisor is subject to confidentiality and was chosen with the best conscience on my part. This is subject to current data protection laws. There is no further data transfer to third parties. 

Your rights 

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data gagainst dIf data protection law is violated or your data protection rights have been violated in some other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority.
